Mechanics Guide — Electricity, Water & Paint Systems Explained
Pokopia Companion now features a full Mechanics section covering three core game systems: electricity, water, and paint. Here’s an overview of each.
Electricity
Unlocked at
Bleak Beach, electricity powers lights, appliances, and electronics across your habitats. Four generators produce power at different rates:
Mini Generator — 5 units, automatic
Windmill Kit — 10 units (20 at high altitude), automatic
Waterwheel Kit — 20 units, automatic
Furnace Kit — 30 units, requires manual renewal
Power reaches items via Utility Poles or Wireless Power Transmitters with a range of 10 blocks. Be careful with overloading — there’s a maximum of 64 generators and 256 transmitters per area.
The Electricity page lists all 49 powered items with their consumption — from gaming chairs to chandeliers.
Water
Water serves both aesthetic and functional purposes — it hydrates plants, creates ambiance, and comes in 5 types with different properties:
Water — from
Fresh Water, hydrates plants, sparkling ripples
Ocean Water — from
Soda Pop, hydrates plants, sparkling
Muddy Water — from
Moomoo Milk Coffee, decorative only
Hot Spring Water — from
Roserade Tea, relaxes your Pokemon
Lava — from
Chili Sauce, damages Ditto, no hydration
Water spreads on flat surfaces and flows through trenches up to 25 blocks. Check the Water page for details on spread mechanics, cliff flow, and water levels.
