Cloud Islands Guide: Visit Community Islands and 3D-Print Items You Find
Pokopia Companion now has a dedicated Cloud Islands section. It’s the new place to keep track of 8-character access codes for community-shared islands, plus a quick refresher on how the feature works end-to-end.
How to Visit a Cloud Island
Visiting is gated behind a single item: the
Mysterious Goggles. Equip them, choose Enter Code, then type any 8-character code. You’ll be warped to that island as a guest, free to explore everything the owner built.
Codes are uppercase alphanumeric, 4 + 4, exactly like the display the game shows when you’re typing them in. That’s the layout we mirror on the Cloud Islands page so codes are easy to read off-screen.
3D-Print What You Find
Cloud Islands aren’t just for sightseeing. While you’re visiting, switch your camera to object mode by pressing Y and photograph anything that catches your eye: furniture, decorations, items you haven’t unlocked yet. Back home at the Pokémon Center, you can trade
Pokémetal (or
Rare Pokémetal for rarer items) to have those photos 3D-printed as real, usable items on your own island. The rarer the item you photographed, the rarer the currency needed to print it.
It’s the game’s workaround for sharing content: you can’t take things directly, but you can photograph them and reprint them with your own materials.

Need Pokémetal to Print?
Every 3D-print costs
Pokémetal, and the rarer items cost
Rare Pokémetal. If you’re burning through your stockpile faster than you’re topping it up, the Pokémetal Farming Guide walks through the two-pass Sky Dream Island method, roughly 800 Pokémetal and 100 Rare Pokémetal per hour.
