Six Areas, Six Stories
Each area in Pokopia was once a familiar Kanto city, transformed by catastrophic events. Fuchsia City became the 
Withered Wastelands after earthquakes and drought. 
Bleak Beach, formerly Vermilion City, sits under perpetual storm clouds. A volcanic eruption turned Pewter City into the 
Rocky Ridges. Mysterious crystals launched Saffron City into the sky, creating the 
Sparkling Skylands. And of course, 
Palette Town remains — reimagined as a free exploration sandbox across three islands.
There’s also Cloud Island, an online-only personal island (requires Nintendo Switch Online) where you can sculpt and build freely.

Environment Levels — Plan Your Progression
As you progress through each area, you climb Environment Levels (2 through 10). Each level unlocks new items and cooking recipes — and knowing what’s coming can help you plan ahead.

Every unlock is cross-referenced: from an item’s detail page, you can also see which area and level grants it — so you can plan your route whether you’re starting from the item or the area.
